Merambula; Merimbula ( /məˈrɪmbjələ/)is a coastal town on the Far South Coast or Sapphire Coast of New South Wales, Australia. At the 2006census, Merimbula had a population of 3,851 people.^[1] It serves predominantly as a tourist town. Merimbula is Aboriginal for 'two lakes'.
